What makes BTC Aloha different from other beachwear brands?

BTC Aloha is a Bitcoin-native beach lifestyle brand — inspired by freedom, rooted in quality, and designed for those who value sovereignty and aesthetic simplicity. We combine a minimalist design ethos with natural luxury fabrics and a low-time-preference mindset. Every piece is crafted with intention: travel-ready, breathable, and timeless. It's more than fashion — it's a signal of values.

What does BTC Aloha stand for — beyond the clothes?

BTC Aloha isn’t just what you wear. It’s how you show up.

  • Stack sats & stay seaspired
  • Be free. Move with intention.
  • Live with aloha
  • Choose signal over noise.
  • Respect the ocean. Respect yourself.
  • Opt out. Stay sovereign.
  • Value-for-value, always.

What do you mean by “value-for-value” in fashion?

We don’t chase trends. We create quality. Value-for-value means:

  • Designing with intention, not overproduction.
  • Using fabrics that respect your body and the planet.
  • Creating a lasting product that holds value, not something that ends up in a landfill next season.
  • Accepting Bitcoin, the hardest money ever created, as our preferred form of exchange.

Where are your items made?

Currently pieces are handmade to order in England. We are developing limited edition production in Mexico, India, Indonesia and the USA, where each piece will be designed with care and produced in small batches to ensure quality and ethical standards. We partner with skilled craftspeople who understand natural materials and value slow, intentional creation. As we grow, we aim to keep production values high, with transparent sourcing and as much local/regional manufacturing as possible.

Why do you use natural fabrics like silk, linen, and cotton?

We believe what you wear should support your health and well-being, not compromise it. Natural fabrics:

  • Breathe better: Let your skin regulate temperature naturally — especially important for tropical and travel environments.
  • Feel better: They're softer, more luxurious, and adapt to your body.
  • Age with grace: Unlike synthetics, which degrade and shed microplastics, natural fibers break in beautifully.
  • Align with values: As Bitcoiners, we opt out of wasteful fiat systems. Supporting regenerative and sustainable materials reflects our commitment to long-term thinking and value-for-value exchange.

Why silk? Isn’t that just for fancy occasions?

Silk is a powerful and versatile material — strong, breathable, temperature-regulating, and antimicrobial. It’s luxurious but practical: ideal for long flights, beach dinners, or boardroom meetings. In many traditional cultures, silk has been considered medicinal for its skin-calming properties. We consider it the perfect fabric for the high-signal Bitcoiner who values quality, comfort, and performance.

What’s your return policy?

We want you to love your piece. If you’re not satisfied, you can return or exchange unworn items within 14 days of delivery. Because of the nature of limited-run pieces and natural fabrics, we ask that you take care to review sizing and care instructions before purchase. There are NO REFUNDS!!! Per our discretion we will provide a comparable exchange or store credit.

Do you ship globally?

Yes — BTC Aloha was made for the global citizen. Whether you’re based in El Salvador, Bali, New York, or Lisbon, we ship worldwide. Our pieces are light, easy to pack, and travel beautifully. Designed for movement, built for freedom. There may be additional customs clearance and duty fees, depending on your location.

Do you ship to PO BOXES?

No. We only ship to residential or business addresses.

Where do you ship from and how long does it take?

Most BTC Aloha pieces are made to order and ship directly from our trusted production partner in England. Orders We use standard international express shipping, which usually takes 3–5 business days to the USA. Delivery times may vary slightly depending on your location and customs. Keep in mind it can take 3 - 5 days until your order ships. Expect to receive your package within two weeks, in North America, UK or Europe. Longer for other regions, and if you are located in remote areas.

Fabric Care and Maintenence

General Notes for All Natural Fabrics:

  • Always check your garment's specific care tag.
  • Spot clean when possible to extend time between washes.
  • Natural fabrics don’t trap odors like synthetics — less washing is often more.
  • Embrace the patina — slight fading, softness, and shape-shifting are all part of the beauty of wearing real materials.

How do I care for silk garments?

Silk is strong, breathable, and luxurious — and surprisingly easy to care for with a bit of mindfulness.

  • Best method: Hand wash in cold water with a gentle detergent (preferably one made for silk/wool).
  • Drying: Hang dry out of direct sunlight.
  • Avoid: Machine washing or tumble drying — it can damage the fibers and shine.
  • Optionally: You can dry clean silk, especially if it's structured or part of a lined piece.
  • Tip: To freshen between wears, just hang in a breezy spot or lightly steam.

Can I machine wash cotton items?

Yes! Cotton is durable and travel-friendly, which is why we love it.

  • Wash: Cold water, gentle cycle.
  • Drying: Hang dry or tumble dry low to med. (hang drying preserves color and shape longer.)
  • Ironing: If needed, iron while slightly damp or steam.
  • Optionally: You can dry clean cotton

How do I care for linen?

Linen is one of the oldest, most breathable, and effortlessly elegant fabrics — perfect for hot climates and travel. It also gets softer with every wear and wash — making it a favorite for long-term, low-impact style

Wash: Cold water on a gentle cycle or hand wash.

  • Drying: Hang dry is best to avoid shrinkage and maintain its natural drape.
  • Optional: Tumble dry low if you're okay with a more relaxed, lived-in texture.
  • Wrinkles: Linen wrinkles naturally — embrace the charm! But if needed, iron while damp or steam for a smoother look.
  • Storage tip: Fold, don't hang long term — hanging can stretch the fibers over time.

What about hemp and hemp blends?

Hemp is one of the strongest natural fibers — it softens with every wash and lasts for years.

  • Wash: Cold water, gentle or normal cycle.
  • Drying: Hang dry recommended; low tumble okay if needed.
  • Note: Some hemp blends (like with cotton or bamboo) may shrink slightly on the first wash — consider sizing with care.

How should I care for bamboo fabric?

Bamboo is incredibly soft, moisture-wicking, and great for hot climates.

  • Wash: Cold water, gentle cycle.
  • Drying: Hang dry to maintain softness and shape.
  • Avoid: High heat — it can weaken the fiber.
  • Bonus: Bamboo naturally resists odors and bacteria, so you can wear it longer between washes.

How to Care for Your BTC Aloha Swimwear ? (Synthetic Fabrics like Nylon & Spandex)

After riding waves or poolside hangs, give your suit a quick rinse in cold, fresh water to wash off salt, chlorine, and sunscreen. Hand wash gently with mild soap—no bleach or gnarly detergents, please. Skip the machine—just roll your suit in a towel to remove extra water, then lay it flat to dry in the shade (never wring it out or bake it in the sun). Treat your gear right, and it’ll keep its shape, color, and seaspired vibe for many salty adventures to come!
