Sea is Medicine
AKA Naomi Olson is a multidisciplinary artist whose work blends Bitcoin, beauty, and resilience. After a near-death experience and emergency surgery that left her with an ileostomy, Naomi chose to rebuild her life with intention—walking the beach daily, returning to art, and discovering Bitcoin. That healing journey awakened her creative voice and set her on a mission to live a life of value.
Her Bitcoin-themed collage and mixed media works have been exhibited in the Bitcoin Art Museum and the Bitcoin Conference gallery (twice) and celebrate sovereignty, freedom, and the human spirit.
She is also the founder of BTC Aloha, an artisan beachwear brand that brings tropical elegance to Bitcoin culture. Her photography background includes exhibitions at the Honolulu Museum of Art and mentorships with legends like Paul Chesley of National Geographic.
Naomi has been featured on podcasts such as Life with Bitcoin, The Art of Freedom, and Access Tribe, where she shares her story of rebirth, creativity, and the power of decentralization.
Her work is a living testament: that beauty, truth, and freedom are worth fighting for—and that art can be a map back to what matters most.

Sea Her Rise
The framed handmade, paper collage, original hangs in the Bitcoin Art Museum at Bitcoin Magazine Headquarters in Nashville. There are two archival limited edition prints sold to private collectors and an edition of 21 inscriptions. Sea Her Rise contains a phoenix rising metaphor, as well as, a nod to the ocean, the feminine and Bitcoin as life sustaining forces of eternal strength and regeneration. Inspired by my own life, the ocean has always given me peace, freedom and power to go on. Bitcoin too... An ode to a future of sound money, where the creative economy can thrive.
